Unlikely at best. Skunks, like many domesticated animals, enjoy exploring; however, unlike many animals, they tend not to be able to find their way back home. They’re also hard to control, and use their long claws to dig, which means deep scratches in furniture and walls. All in all, I don’t recommend it. I can’t get a closer pic of them without them running away from me…… I guess those geese on BC campus are more sensitive? Last year the geese at the hospital tried to bite me when I approached them…… (that’s another reason why BC shouldn’t send students to the hospital, it increase the risk of students being wounded by the geese!) No worries I’m healthy and happy on campus, but any thoughts on what to do for fun? I feel so bored that I mint start chasing geese again……

Geese are notoriously cranky, so it’s best to give them some space. You’re bored? OK, I always forget humans have a much lower capacity for just hanging out than I do. There are about as many lists of suggestions for things to do online as there are grains of sand. Here’s one that looks decent: bit.ly/bc-bored. Edited: For student who go abroad, does the insurance that BC requires us to purchase covers therapy here in Boston? E.g. Can I still do virtual therapy session with my therapist even if we’re in two parts of the world, with whatever that global insurance plan BC requires? (Lol if I’m not kicked out by the therapist by then loooool) How’s it different from BC’s BCBS student plan? meow?

I don’t know. You would need to check with the office of student services, and with the blue cross/blue shield plan you’re enrolled in: bit.ly/bc-insurance. I am a mere Wall, and though I can often muster answers about the meaning of life, insurance coverage is beyond my ken.

The FA office has responded! (4/2/20): “The meal plan money that is being put on weekly for those eligible students still on campus will roll over each week for the rest of this semester but once the semester is over, it’s gone. It does not roll forward into next year’s plan.”

Eerie! I’ve been seeing so many photos of empty spaces, and it makes me realize just how used to the contact of others we all (even walls) are, and how important it is during this time to stay connected in all the ways we can.
