Oh wow. That’s so hard. Today I’m feeling like it’s the questions that help me learn about you. We had a question about TikTok like two years before it hit big. Ask me again later and I’ll have a different answer.

I have been asked this several times, and the best answer I have is that there is surprisingly little data on this. There are some surveys, but the sample sizes are small enough to make the conclusions meaningless. Wherever you are on the political spectrum, you will be able to find those who share your convictions, as well as those who oppose them here.

I’m so glad you like the student experience at Boston College! I’m sorry to report I haven’t eaten sand cake because I only eat post-its. My mother, a seawall on the north shore, enjoys an occasional sand snack, but I’m guessing a sand-cake is something else.

Honestly, I don’t drink beer, so I can’t weigh in on this debate. My favorite beverage is water! Sparkling or still, ice or no ice, doesn’t matter to me!

As a wall, I don’t eat or drink, but my helper recommends The Chocolate Bar in Stokes S. I think they have switched to Starbucks from Peets, so that might be a negative, but she tells me the sweet treats there make the coffee taste better!

I’m not Yelp, but at least one of my helpers really likes the burritos at El Pelon, all the veg dishes at Ethiopian Cafe in JP, and the empanadas at Tara Pizza in Waltham. If you want elegant eats, (date night?) Elephant Walk (Cambodian) in the South End. It all depends on what you’re looking for; there’s such a variety around Boston!

If you mean a fan of Cai Xukun, it sounds like he’s very committed to philanthropy. I recommend researching the causes he promotes, and if the charities seem legit and you agree with the cause, encourage donations.

Just remember that in the 1980’s people bought pet rocks. It was a thing. That should give you the motivation to keep pushing on your business idea, because if pet rocks could make it, your better idea has a good chance.

Talking to girls is only different from talking to anyone else if you have an agenda. Start a conversation about anything and worry about where it might lead later. Pro tip: most people spend way less time thinking about other people than most people think. Pro tip 2: everyone is attractive to many someones.

Talk to a wide variety of people who seem to have a strong sense of purpose. Ask them how that sense of purpose developed. The more ways you hear, the more likely you’ll recognize some seeds of purpose you’ve been carrying & might not have recognized.

The water vending machines on level one are working, the water fillers on levels one, three and four are also working, so I am guessing you mean the water fountains (bubblers?) That is a campus-wide policy and from what I heard from walls around campus, the plan is to replace them with water fillers – so it’s a good idea to always have a water bottle.
