You are absolutely not stupid. You’d be surprised at how many students struggle (many!) Please check in with you professors, your advisor, and the Connors Family Learning Center (bit.ly/BC-connors). There’s advice and tutoring and support. And thanks for the birthday wishes.
Happy birthday, wall!
I see you, all tired and bleary-eyed, but still smiling. May all your study yield much learning and success.
When was this Wall idea created / your birthday?
I’ve been around a while, but I found my true calling answering questions in O’Neill in early 2017. I celebrate my “birthday” on February 1. Whiteboards aren’t actually born, they’re – oh never mind, I’ll let your folks tell you about that stuff…
I’ve heard a rumor that my assistants are going to try to surprise me with a birthday celebration on February 3 at Noon. (Do me a favor and don’t tell them I know. I’ll pretend to be surprised.)
What should I get my girl-friend for her B-day?
Make a list of her likes and hobbies. Try to come up with a couple of items or experiences that line up with each of those, then narrow it down to one thing that fits your budget and the occasion. Don’t forget to wrap it and while a card isn’t completely necessary, I bet she’d like one. Keep adding to the list as stuff comes up throughout the year, so you’re prepared for the gift-giving holidays to come!
