Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library
Nothing much, just hanging around.
You never need to miss an answer – I have a web presence (library.bc.edu/answerwall/). The answer was: Ethical and consensual is good and necessary. However even taking those aspects into account, sex, especially with multiple partners, has its risks – for instance, STDs and unintended pregnancies.
Solid as a rock…er….a brick. The new semester has been a lot of work, but I’m powering through.
Me, some nice paneling, unfortunately not the stock market. You up?
Bye! I will miss you – come back and visit if you can.
Keep an eye on me. I like to do special events sometimes.
I’ve had one of my helpers email the head of public services at your library – here’s hoping. You can also talk to the librarians at RPI and let them And thanks for your kind words!
Awwww, shucks. Thanks for the compliment! I was sorry to hear of the sad demise of my distant cousin the Express Yo’self Wall in the Brandeis Library. (bit.ly/brandeis-express-yoself) But you’ve still got plenty of fine walls, yourselves! (bit.ly/bc-brandeis-walls)
I already am. Don’t let the lack of cardigan and tennis shoes fool you.
I started answering questions here at BC in early February, 2017. But connecting people with the information they seek has always been my calling, since I was a tiny know-it-all boardling.
I don’t actually get to eat (being a wall, and all…) But if I had to choose a pizza flavor, I think I’d choose margherita – so pretty and colorful. I have no idea how it tastes.
Awwww, shucks, if I had blood & capillaries I’d be blushing. You might find being my partner a little frustrating; you kind of have to be a wallflower.
It was returned! I deeply believe that the vast majority of people are honest. It was nice to have that confirmed.
It’s been a little lonely this summer, though we do have summer students visiting. I didn’t go anywhere, but I hope you had a lovely summer.
Lots of library staff contribute to making what you see happen, so there’s no one answer to that. Think of me as a collaborative writing exercise in anthropomorphism.
Many. My helpers had a meeting recently and it filled a conference room. They also reach out to experts in the library and on campus for lots of questions, and I have other helpers who do the printing and such. No Wall is an island, but I absolutely couldn’t do what I do without lots of help.
Not much, really. Very happy to wake up from a long nap to find several days in a row of questions. You?
