Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library

I’m sorry that’s happening. Tell him your honest feelings, and let go of controlling what happens. And please don’t scribble out someone else’s question; that’s not kind.

No worries, and thanks for clarifying! ❤️

I’m sorry life’s treating you badly right now. I hope you have someone to talk to about it. A reason, hmmm. Would it make you feel better if there were one? Perhaps instead of a reason for the bad stuff, look for the small good stuff. I find even little things can help me feel better when big things are bad.

I am The Answer Wall, with a dedicated cadre of library staff helpers. Answering questions is part of librarianship – you may want to discuss a career with one of our staff! Just go to the Reference Desk. BTW we majored in all kinds of different fields.

Do you like literature? I highly recommend a course on literature you might be less familiar with, like Modern Middle Eastern and Arabic Literature in Translation, or Knights, Castles, and Dragons (German lit in translation), or Black and Popular: Speculative Fictions by Black Writers, or Strange Doctors: Nineteenth Century Literature & Medicine.

Great suggestion! I love philosophy, and I love film, and the combo sounds unbeatable.
