Be gentle with yourself. Try and control the things you can (food, sleep, physical comfort). Try and do your work ahead, in small chunks, so you don’t have deadline pressure coinciding with a bad day. The best you can do on any given day is still the best you can do, and that’s all anyone can ask.

While your roommate’s sister may be pretty, roommate drama never is. As long as you’re living with this roommate, dating their sister is a risky decision that could lead to some serious roommate OR relationship issues. I’d wait til move out and/or graduation to make your move!

If you are in danger of failing, please speak directly to your professor (at office hours or schedule a time with them as they specify on the course syllabus), and seek out peer tutoring at the Connors Family Learning Center (bit.ly/BC-connors) right now; tutoring ends May 2. If this was in public it seems to fall under “sexual exploitation” in the BC Student Sexual Misconduct Policy (bit.ly/BCSexualMisconductPol). If you were found to have violated it, you would be sanctioned. That varies from having to give up your BC housing, to having to give up your degree – though they state that the response will be “commensurate with the violation.” Get a room?
There are no long-term side effects from taking plan B often (infertility) but short-term can include bloating, nausea, feeling unwell and other hormonal side effects which can definitely affect your quality of life. The makers of morning-after pills recommend only taking the pill once per cycle, but OBGYNs say that you can take the pill any time you have unprotected sex. If you find that you are taking the pill quite often because of unprotected sex, you might want to consider using condoms or talking to your doctor about other birth control alternatives.

Most toddlers’ gas is not much different than an adult’s gas, however toddlers may not have control over their gas, and therefore it may be more noticable. However, if a toddler has very foul smelling gas, it could be signs of a digestive track problem or allergy- a visit to the doctor may be in order.
If the desire is mutual and consenting, and no one get hurts (read: current partners)…well…wait, I’m not able to make this decision for you. But I will give you a few things to consider before you decide to take the leap.
There are many circumstances where that’s probably OK. Kids are hungry and there’s no other way to feed them? Sure. But pure greed? I wouldn’t advise it. Best to stick as close to your dreams/mission in life as you can, or you’ll probably regret it later on.

Try making friends first! Get involved with LGBT groups on campus and in the Boston community to broaden your social circle AND your dating pool. LGBT people have historically had fewer opportunities to meet and court, so LGBT groups and bars are a good way to make connections — and find some elders who may have even better advice!

The Kirkwood Tickler seems to have peaked in 2014, although there are still occasional claims about their exploits today,. The chances of you being a victim are relatively slim, and it’s not generally a good idea to spend your life scared of all the potential crimes that could happen to you (especially in a city). Maybe just try wearing socks to bed?
