It is anyone’s guess how this will end, but I fear there is very little “win” in most scenarios. I am heartbroken over the destruction and loss of life.

Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library

Iām a Wall, and my answer would be simply to be surrounded by as many people as possible that I can support (and get to know!), which means I couldnāt be happier right now. I asked my Library helpers too and they have lots of ideas:

Not at all… walls are generally very supportive. Mom and Dad were both overjoyed when I got this gig at Boston College. I’d like to think no parent would be disappointed in their child for not attaining something as chancy as Harvard admission.

It happens, but very rarely. Libraries are big on patron privacy, so we redact names of individual community members. This is also not a space for speech that’s hurtful or hateful about people or groups of people.

I have never tasted Indian or any other food so I asked my library helpers. These are their favorite Indian Restaurants in Boston (weāre not sure how many of them are frequented by BC students, but maybe you can start a trend!).

I’d love to get to know you better, so my selfish answer would be “yes.” Boston College is an amazing place. I can’t judge whether it is the right choice for you. Learn as much as you can and see if your goals align with BC and whether you generally want what BC has to offer.

There are MANY self-care options that don’t involve drugs, which often come with side-effects that undermine self-care.

If your ideal place is both big and small, both university and liberal arts college, and full of people who want to change the world for the better, it might be the place for you!

BC is not everyone’s ideal place, and I hope you find one where you are happy. I will miss you!
