I asked a few of my library friends. They’ve got some opinions: Tim Tebow, Ben Simmons, Alex Rodriguez, Lance Armstrong, and John McEnroe.

Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library

It’s a placeholder name for planning purposes not an actual disease. Johns Hopkins has a good explainer on it. https://publichealth.jhu.edu/2024/what-is-disease-x

There are a variety of possible answers to that depending on how one thinks of God. I like this statement from the US Conference of Catholic Bishops: “We believe that every person is precious, that people are more important than things, and that the measure of every institution is whether it threatens or enhances the life and dignity of the human person.” https://bit.ly/bc-usccb

Yes; The O’Neill Lobby Door and I spent a lovely romantic evening together (as we do every evening, to be honest). I wish you similar joy in the future, and recommend being proactive, willing to be rejected, making the first move… and having patience.

I don’t get to clubs very often since I’m busy supporting the library, but I asked some of my friends and they have these recommendations for you: Royale, Phoenix Landing in Central Square, Glitter boys events at the Sinclair in Cambridge and Club Cafe!

I’ve heard the National Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art is a can’t-miss, as is Gyeongbokgung Palace, the 14th Century dwelling of the Joseon Dynasty. Try to book a stay of at least one night in Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional area not far from the Palace. Nearby: Kyung-In Museum of Fine Art, where you can also have tea & snacks under outdoor pavilions. The National Museum of Korea is excellent (Yongsan neighborhood). The most important Buddhist temple in Seoul is Jogyesa; if you’re into temples, another is Bongeunsua in south Seoul. Finally, you MUST catch a baseball game: 3 KBO teams play in and around Seoul. Public transit is amazing in Seoul. Buy a T-money or Cashbee card from a convenience store, and top it up with cash.

I’m sorry to say therapy dog visits are on paws right now, but there are other ways to destress. Here are some furry & feathered staff pets and some online animal cams: library.bc.edu/virtual-pets-2021. And BC has peer wellness coaches, who I’m sure have a ton of ideas for de-stressing: bit.ly/BC-wellness-coach.

As a wall I’d have a hard time transferring, but for you humans, I’d say it all depends on where you feel you’d fit best. Before you make a decision, talk to friends and advisers about why you feel the lack of fit here, which will either clarify what you want in another place, or open up possibilities here.

He’s young, he’s one man, and football is a team sport: players, even QB’s, don’t solely make or break a game. He missed some options in blitzes, but also, his team and coach should have accounted for his lack of veteran reflexes and created a better wall of protection.
