Why did BC spend $13K on an ice sculpture, when I have to decide whether to pay my tuition or be able to afford groceries?

It’s hard to watch people spend money on what seems frivolous when you’re strapped for cash. If you want to make sure BC is spending money wisely while students experience food insecurity, take a look at the BC Factbook, research food insecurity (bit.ly/campus-food-insecurity), and bring your concerns to a wider audience – maybe a letter to the editor (or article) at the Eagle or Gavel or perhaps a report to the UGBC.
