Two amazing come from behind victories! I consulted with one of my assistants and if we’re talking strictly about just these two putts, she has to believe it’s Justin Leonard’s putt. Sure, Justin Rose sunk a putt from 35 yards, but that was a downhill shot. Leonard, however, had gravity at his disadvantage and had to use so much force that if that ball missed, it would have sailed past the hole and landed feet away, all but guaranteeing a loss for USA. We may be biased though, since there’s no better victory than one right in our backyard. However there is another moment that may just be greater than those two, it’s Seve Ballesteros’ 245 yard shot to the green from a BUNKER with a 3 WOOD in 1983! I don’t know how he saw that shot but it became one of the greatest of all time.
