![Are you going to Home Coming?](https://library.bc.edu/answerwall/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/AW092922-1.jpg)
Right here in the O’Neill lobby I see enough people who drop by while at Homecoming that I think I can say Homecoming comes to me.
Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library
If you are sick all the time, I would advise you to first address this with your doctor or University Health Services (bit.ly/BostonCollegeHealth). If there’s no underlying medical cause, wellness may be the road out of constant sickness – check out the Ofc. of Health Promotion (bit.ly/BC-health-promo). Feel better!“
First snow is usually by Thanksgiving, though it sometimes happens in October. The heaviest snow usually falls between January and early March. https://bit.ly/3V0Xsmb BC doesn’t close except when conditions are pretty dangerous, usually a couple of times a year.
I’m sorry to report I haven’t found club tennis either among student organizations or on the BC Campus Rec club sports page: bit.ly/BC-club–sports. The only club-level racquet sports are squash and table tennis.
Don’t do this to yourself! This is the time to learn time management and get yourself into a more normal sleep cycle; you will feel so much better and in control. We have 2 great options for developing these life skills: Wellness Coaching through the Ofc. of Health Promotion: (bit.ly/BC-health-promo) or Academic Coaching through the Connors Family Learning Center (bit.ly/BC-connors). Wishing you sleep!
I’ll do my best, and will pass along to all of those reading this that Jupiter should be considerably brighter this week than usual, because it’s closer than it will be for the next 100+ years. If you miss it this time around, Jupiter will be in opposition again in November of next year, though not quite as close. Details: bit.ly/jupiter-opposition
In a word, no. BC doesn’t officially report stats on its LGBTQ population, and BC isn’t listed by the Campus Pride Index (either as positive or in the worst list). But if you’re looking for a community, this office can help, and will be able to tell you more about LGBTQ organizations: bc.edu/lgbtq
Finding a friend group can be challenging – you’re not alone! Exploring your interests is a great way to find like-minded people. Have you considered joining a club or student group on campus? Check out the long list of options at bit.ly/BC-campus-orgs
Communicate more than you think necessary by phone, text, zoom, email, and snail mail… . Mark important days with gifts. Send care packages. Talk about all the little things that happened each day. IOW, it takes a strong effort, but stay in each other’s day to day lives.
