Well, first of all, it’s the creator of the biggest, most impressive wall ever built. It’s also got some of the best documented & longest written history of any still-extant nation-state, so there’s that. And most populous country, with a huge variety of cultures, food, art, and music. It’s also got the biggest virtual wall: what some call the Great Firewall of China. IOW, many superlatives!

Our international exchange students bring so much to BC, and then they leave… Thankfully, it is the 21st century, and there are so many ways to keep in touch, even in realtime. Make sure you make time to contact them and maybe you could even meet up sometime in the future.

DAWs are notoriously memory- and power-hungry, which means they can also generate a lot of heat. Short-term: get a cooling mat or stand. But there are other things you can do to help your computer beat the heat, and the ITS Help Desk will have ideas: 617-522-HELP (4357)

That looks like a very sad “WHY?” so I am guessing something has gone badly for you. The “why” is sometimes not knowable by mere mortals or walls. I am sorry and hope things get better.
