I’m not going to give advice on a candidate, but one of my helpers has created a guide page for voting: bit.ly/bcl-voting-info. See also the elections tab on that guide for misinformation fact-checking, which is very important in this election. Misinformation runs rampant on social media! A rumour gets halfway around the world before truth even gets its boots on.
I tend to prefer subtlety to raw power, so I’m in general an Odyssesus fan, but there is something to be said for Ajax’s reliability. Also, don’t sleep on Diomedes as a second-tier Greek hero. Check out my friend the Oxford Classical Dictionary for a quick summary of what each of them get up to in the myths that grew up around the Iliad.

Love is a reciprocal verb as much as a feeling. If people share a love that manifests as trusting, respecting, being vulnerable, and experiencing intimacy and joy together, then yes.
No, that’s not how works of literature are arranged here. But you can do an advanced search to find what you’re looking for. On line one, in subject: fiction. On line two, in subject: mystery. Or if you have a favorite author, just search by the author’s name. We don’t have a huge selection of mysteries. I recommend getting a BPL e-card (bit.ly/BPL-ecard), downloading the Libby app, and signing up with your BPL account, to read ebooks or listen to audiobooks.
It’s a moving, powerful account of the holocaust. I wonder if “like” is the right word. Deep, deep respect. I’m glad I’ve read it.
