Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library

Absolutely! A B.A. degree prepares you to think critically, which prepares you for just about any work circumstance. If you’d like to explore career possibilities that draw directly on your major, I recommend the Career Center: bit.ly/BC-career

Well, since I am in the O’Neill lobby, I don’t get outside much. What is something you saw outside that made your day?

Thank you! What a wonderful set of mental pictures!

It really very heavily depends on the context. There are lots of reasons why people might find you off-putting, some of which are under your control and some of which aren’t. Take a look at the things that are, and decide if this group of people is worth making adjustments for.

It is not a sure thing for anyone; BC needs to turn away so many students who are qualified and would make great eagles. I do hope you get accepted (but don’t despair; my helpers tell me that many did not get into their 1st choice, but had wonderful college experiences.)
