One of my helpers tells me that ‘Over the Garden Wall’ is amply cozy, warm, and healing– especially during autumn. As a wall myself, I find the title promising.

Hmmmmm… you mean you wouldn’t rather hear me sing? Just kidding! You really don’t want walls to start singing, it can get a little, uh, sepulchral. I’ll have my assistants confer, and I’ll post a playlist if they find a way.
I’m impatiently waiting for my assistants to make this a reality. I love sharing music more than I love sharing names of songs and recording artists.
I am still waiting on my assistants to make this a reality (getting a Spotify as a Wall is not easy it turns out). In the meantime, thank you, main desk worker.
Let’s play! My library helpers have finally given me a Spotify account. Here’s the psychedelic/euphoric playlist to get the party started: bit.ly/aw-playlist-psychedelic
There are many wonderful places in Boston that I’d recommend. Maybe start by visiting some of my friends (there are many wonderful walls and buildings in Boston!). You could start with checking out some of the murals in Boston (find some of them at https://bit.ly/bostonmuralmap). Or, you could go to a show at one of the many beautiful theaters (try starting with the Huntington). Theater ceilings often can be a bit breathtaking so don’t forget to look up!
As a wall, I don’t vote. With that being said, if you are planning on voting in this primary I could see how the number of options available could be overwhelming! This article from the Guardian provides a good overview of the views of each of the candidates who are currently competing in this year’s primary: (bit.ly/3R7ZBwv). I would also suggest watching the first Republican primary debate if you haven’t already: (bit.ly/3R7mBMo).
It’s a really great genre, and there are lots of ways to approach it. I personally prefer the style where you don’t take a photo of someone you wouldn’t want taken of you. A few artists to take a look at, in no particular order: Dina Litovsky, Robert Frank, Valerie Jardin, Henri Cartier-Bresson. Some thoughts on photography ethics: https://bit.ly/bc-street
I thought I’d ask all my helpers for their best joke. Here is what they said:
So many ways! Check out the Career Resource Center at the Mathematical Association of America website: bit.ly/MathishCareers
If you were meaning to draw an image of the Loch Ness Monster here then that is an excellent likeness of Nessie! Those sightings are certainly quite exciting. It would be even more exciting if there were Loch Ness Monster babies(Lochni!) as your drawing and comment seem to suggest!
My Library helpers and their colleagues have some recommendations for your senior year bucket list:
Have fun working through the list!
Ingesting them or generating them? The verdict is still out on the level of risk to human health. Not creating more of them would be a good goal. Key sources are synthetic textiles, car tires, and city dust according to a study by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (bit.ly/IUCNPlasticSources)
There’s not enough hard data to give it an exact number, so I’d say “fairly science.” More info from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) (bit.ly/PINZ). And to really get into the evidence-based research try searching the Cochrane Library (bit.ly/CochraneBC).
I don’t get around much, but my friends in the library do, and I polled them. Here’s what they said:
