Could very well happen; there are over 7000 alum couples according to the Alumni Association! Then again, that is a very small percentage of BC alumni.

Answering questions at Boston College O’Neill Library

I’d love to point you to what many scholars have written on WWI. Head up to the 5th floor of O’Neill and look for books with “D500” through “D680” on the spine. Those are all about WWI. There are other books about WWI sprinkled throughout the collection (e.g. in literature) so swing by the reference desk (3rd floor) if you are looking for other perspectives!

The idiom people might use in America, if I’m understanding you correctly, is “A rising tide lifts all boats.” Something to keep in mind: some boats have leaks. And some people haven’t yet been welcomed into a boat. Widespread well-being follows from wealth & strength as long as people honor virtues like generosity and service.

There are so many things to do in this area 🙂 I don’t eat cake, as I am a wall, but I’ve heard it’s delish, so I think you simply must find yourself some cake. I also recommend trying something new that you have never done before but always wanted to – like rock climbing! Or finding a theatrical performance you’ve never seen! Happy early birthday – hope it’s fantastic!
