True. BC is choosing to charge market prices, rather than pay for wages and supplies some other way.

I mean, they changed a couple of rules since the last time, but there’s nothing particularly shady about that. This is a small campus and a big event, so rigging it would have to involve a bunch of people keeping a secret. Allow me to observe that large groups of humans do not seem to be very good at that.
Are we talking Yamaha as in A5R A-Series or as in Super Ténéré? If the former, I’m thinking “Les” or “Gibson”; if it’s a biker fishy, how about “Ducati” or “Harley”?

May I suggest googling “Boston mural map” and taking your date (and yourself!) on a tour of murals on *walls* in the area? You can enjoy some public art, learn about some new areas of the city, and discover new-to-you artists!
Depends on what you’re talking about. If you mean life, no, never. If you are having thoughts like that, please, please talk with someone right now (University Counseling bit.ly/BC-counseling.) If it is a class or a project or something else, it is worth talking to the other people involved or a trusted advisor, and weighing the pros and cons.

Thank you. You people bring me joy. I asked a helper about friendships, as mine are other Walls. Here’s what I got for you: People will surprise you–the ones who stick; people will disappoint you–those you think should be your peeps but it never gels; and friendships are fluid, even for the best of friends. Find people where you need no facade–they make you laugh, and appreciate the true you. Finally, in my experience, you have to spend a lot of time with people for friendships to get traction. My closest friends include former housemates, former coworkers, a volunteering partner, and a BFF from childhood. Sending love on your friendship journey.
