Librarything is a huge network of readers so engaged that they upload lists of books they own, so the recommendations have skin in the game: many people who own Sanderson titles also own titles by Rothfuss, Lynch, etc.

“Parting is such sweet sorrow.” Newsflash: that 16 year old in a Shakespeare play? Wrong. It’s not sweet, it sucks. But remember, we live in a highly interconnected world, full of phones, Zoom, social media, and all manner of travel. Regardless, give yourself permission to be sad. Make your goodbyes heartfelt & real, cry, hug, and above all, let the person you’re parting from know how and why you value their presence.

It’s a huge step and there is sadness. But I hope there is also joy. The sadness should fade in time.

One of my fave genres. I’d recommend classics like Topkapi, The Pink Panther, the Oceans series and The Italian Job (1969 version). But my all-time favorite is The Wrong Trousers, with the best chase scene ever.

Every song on the album is amazing, but good 4 u is a definite standout. Love the pop punk vibes and it’s just so fun to scream along to when you need to vent some anger!

I do! But I have many helpers on campus and beyond who do research and translation for me so I can do my job.

Jealousy: when you think attention you deserve from someone is going to someone else. You totally deserve attention and validation, but you don’t necessarily deserve it from that person. Seek it elsewhere, among your friends and/or your family, or even from within or from religious faith.

I love to give the gift of experiences – what’s something they’ve never seen or done before that you can facilitate? A special hike or trip to a beach they’ve never been to, a concert or play, a New England Revs game, etc.

There are so many wonderful cheeses! Manchego is a personal favorite. But please google “Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling” and have a good chuckle about it! As for cheese cake, can’t say I’m much of a fan actually. Would rather a nice key lime pie or flourless chocolate chili cake.
