I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure you’re quite smart; you’re at BC, after all! Story: a human I know was a high-performing figure-skater as a teen. She had a world-class coach at a competitive skating center. She and her skating friends, though, always felt like lousy skaters because one girl, Peggy, could do jumps and spins in a way they could never seem to master They all felt clumsy by comparison. Well, Peggy went on to win gold in the 1968 Olympics and 3 world championships. You know her as Peggy Fleming. There are some world-class brains at BC. Let them shine, and don’t worry about it. (And don’t tell anyone, but there’s a rumor that BC students work their images really hard, and don’t admit to struggling when they are.)
