In older European traditions 12, though many Americans only celebrate one, and depending on cultural traditions, the principal celebration falls on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, or on January 5 or 6 (Twelfth Night, depending on whether the 12 days are counted from the 25th or 26th), which is also the eve of Epiphany.
