Malcolm (Pecket's Treasurer working with Helen from WYCAS) Item Info

Title:
Malcolm (Pecket's Treasurer working with Helen from WYCAS)
Description:
The majority of Pecket Directors have difficulties with reading, writing and/or numbers. Malcolm our treasurer has a visual impairment so needs all documents to be in large print. All finance documents are read aloud and discussed at each meeting – heading by heading. In the past we have also used pie charts as graphic versions. Our current Directors didn’t find Pie Charts helpful so Malcolm has worked with the Project Coordinator and Helen from WYCAS (West Yorkshire Community Accountancy Service) to find the best graphic format for us. Directors considered various chart formats at a recent meeting and this film shows Malcolm feeding back to Helen the best format for future reports. He asks for one last change to the format – Directors want the typed figures and words to appear inside or alongside each relevant bar.
