- Splash! is a collection of poems by elementary school students of St. Luke’s and Columbia schools, as well as elderly residents and visitors to/of the Silk Court and George Green’s Day Centre. Students and the elderly meditated on visits to the Thames River and other bodies of water in London and wrote poetry that reflected their individual reactions to these environments and the people they attracted. The poems feature stories on swimming in the summer, rain storms, droughts, old age, illness, among other topics. The work features black and white illustrations drawn by the schoolchildren.
