The works discuss a variety of upbringings and life experiences ranging from war, to refugeedom, to motherhood, to survival. The transcriptions are part of a local oral history campaign to preserve the cultural roots of the diverse population of Sheffield. Accompanying the stories are newspaper articles and headlines about the various social justice campaigns of Earl Marshal students.
