Maps & Manuscripts from the Williams Collection
The Williams Collection, in addition to its books, also includes maps and manuscripts. This selection from the collection connects to the theme of “pirate treasures” and includes images of several maps, along with two documents – one, a letter describing the capture of an English privateer in 1682, and the other about the disastrous earthquake of 1692 which devastated Port Royal, Jamaica.
