Some things don’t change. Since the technology to fix images through a chemical process was first invented in the 1840s, we’ve been sharing photographs. This invention allowed those who couldn’t sketch to show off a prized possession, share a silly moment, or capture their own best side in a selfie. This last one was pretty tricky before the addition of timers to cameras!
