Description

Frontal view of the Porta Magna of the Venetian Arsenal. This structure was based in part off of the Arch of the Sergii in Pula, Istra. Possibly one of the first examples of Venetian Renaissance architecture. the inscription above the gate translates loosely to "Monument of Naval Victory"
