{"id":644,"date":"2018-09-18T15:33:54","date_gmt":"2018-09-18T15:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.bc.edu\/newsletter\/?p=644"},"modified":"2018-09-18T16:33:54","modified_gmt":"2018-09-18T16:33:54","slug":"orcid-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.bc.edu\/newsletter\/orcid-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"ORCID Survey \u2013 Participate!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BC faculty, researchers, and graduate students are invited to participate in the survey study &#8220;ORCID iD adoption in academic communities.\u201d The 10-minute online survey will ultimately contribute to research characterizing the uptake of ORCID iDs, the use cases and perceptions of the system among researchers in different research communities, barriers to uptake, and possible interventions.<\/p>\n<p>The study, funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oclc.org\/\">OCLC<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alise.org\/\">ALISE<\/a>\u00a0under their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oclc.org\/research\/grants.html\">Library &amp; Information Science Research Grants<\/a>\u00a0scheme, is conducted by researchers at the University of St Andrews (Scotland) as an extension of a 2017 pilot study there.
