In addition to providing access to desktop computers, O\u2019Neill Library has a number of monitors you can plug your laptops into. There, you can also check out laptops, phone chargers, adapters, presentation clickers, cameras, microphones, and much more. In addition to having some similar technologies, the Educational Resource Center also has a Meeting Owl, iPads, and Chromebooks. (See the full list of <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.bc.edu\/technology-loan?_gl=1*ena2yo*_ga*MjE5ODM3NzgzLjE3MjY0OTI4NzI.*_ga_4YX792B8VG*MTcyNjQ5NzgyMC4yLjEuMTcyNjQ5ODEzOS4wLjAuMA..\">loanable technologies<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.bc.edu\/software\">software<\/a> found across the libraries.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some notable highlights include O\u2019Neill Library\u2019s new media production equipment and the Digital Studio\u2019s many resources, including the new Gaming &amp; Immersive Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Media Production Technology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>O\u2019Neill Library\u2019s recently acquired media production technologies to help students with their increasing number of media-based assignments (and just so you can have creative fun). The new items include Canon DSLR cameras, camcorders, a smartphone filming kit, and more. The Digital Studio also has <strong>3D modeling<\/strong> technologies that can be used for photogrammetry and laser scanning. The very popular<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ds.bc.edu\/digital-studio-audio-video-production\/\">Podcasting Room<\/a><strong> <\/strong>is available for recording podcasts, presentations, or other audio-based projects.
