However, this year it is making use of the Open Journal Systems platform to create DOIs, establish preservation, and to simplify indexing in Google Scholar and open access repositories like the <a href=\"https:\/\/doaj.org\/\">Directory of Open Access Journals<\/a> (DOAJ).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/library.bc.edu\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/MedicalHumanitiesJournal.png\" alt=\"Journal cover: a painting of a night scene at the entrance of a grey building, full of inviting shades of pink to blue.\" class=\"wp-image-2647\" width=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/library.bc.edu\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/MedicalHumanitiesJournal.png 580w, https:\/\/library.bc.edu\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/MedicalHumanitiesJournal-226x300.png 226w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><small><em>The Medical Humanities Journal<\/em> has published nine issues and is working on migrating their content to Open Journal Systems at Boston College.<\/small><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/ejournals.bc.edu\/index.php\/lumenetvita\">Lumen et Vita<\/a>, <\/em>one of Boston College Libraries most read E-journals,<em> <\/em>recently published their 2023 spring issue on the heels of their recent symposium. They publish articles, reviews, and interviews and have been in publication since 2012.<\/small><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In Psychology,<em> Spark<\/em>,<em> <\/em>a new student E-journal, has put out a call for submissions with an aim of publishing their first issue in the fall. <em>Spark<\/em> seeks to collect undergraduate work in the field of psychology to share to a wider audience at Boston College and in the global psychology community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another well established undergraduate E-journal set to publish their 10th edition is Boston College\u2019s undergraduate philosophy journal, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ejournals.bc.edu\/index.php\/dianoia\">Dianoia<\/a>.<\/em> The Journal is holding their release symposium for their tenth edition later this month.
