Boston College launched its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bc.edu\/bc-web\/schools\/mcas\/departments\/engineering.html\">Human-Centered Engineering Department<\/a> this fall, welcoming over 20 inaugural first year students! A particular focus going forward for our book collection will be social justice, ethics, and design. Interested in any of these? Take a minute to explore a sampling of them: <a href=\"https:\/\/bc-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/permalink\/f\/l6ucgu\/ALMA-BC51549336860001021\">Science Robotics<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bc-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/permalink\/f\/l6ucgu\/ALMA-BC51549336650001021\">Nature Machine Intelligence<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bc-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/permalink\/f\/l6ucgu\/ALMA-BC51549336500001021\">Engineering Studies<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/bc-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/permalink\/f\/rjq7q9\/ALMA-BC51549336690001021\">Journal of Women and Minorities in Science &amp; Engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, we added some new databases to support the work of our engineers, and really, the campus as a whole:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineeringvillage.com\/search\/quick.url?database=1\">Compendex<\/a>:&nbsp; This is a comprehensive database of scientific and technical engineering research, covering all engineering disciplines on a platform called Engineering Village.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineeringvillage.com\/search\/quick.url?database=2\">Inspec<\/a>: Okay, technically this isn\u2019t a new resource, but we\u2019ve moved it over to the Engineering Village platform to make it searchable with Compendex content.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.proquest.com\/?accountid=9673&amp;selectids=10000253,1000283,10000260\">ProQuest SciTech Premium Collection<\/a>: This collection offers a number of science, technology, materials sciences, and engineering resources. The entire collection is full-text, and includes scholarly journals, trade and industry journals, magazines, technical reports, conference proceedings, government publications, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you all find that these new resources expand your research capabilities in productive ways.
