Everyone knows how it ends, the main actor is cringe and I hate how he forces his voice to sound higher when he sings, the musical doesn&#8217;t have a whole lot of layers and motives, and it just&#8230;isn&#8217;t sad. This might be just my opinion, but I seriously want to know what makes it so great (it&#8217;s on Broadway after all). I do appreciate the fact that it&#8217;s completely sung-though and isn&#8217;t too heavy (e.g. as opposed to Hamilton). owo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a wall, I often see humans at odds over what they enjoy. Sometimes, artistic works are popular simply because they happen to connect to a widespread need at a particular moment. There are many Elizabethan plays lost to the mists of time which I&#8217;m sure were wildly popular in their day. But I&#8217;m sure even Shakespeare had his detractors.
