The Boston College Irish Serials Database, which includes over 1,500 newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals pertaining to Ireland, enhances access to the material in support of the University's Irish Studies Program and provides a list of current and historical titles for scholars at Boston College and beyond.

The database, a subset of Quest, provides holdings information for nearly all Irish serial publications in the Boston College Libraries. These holdings range in date from 1685 to the present and cover such topics as Irish history, literature, politics, law, art, archaeology, economics and religion.

Included are 13 microform sets (listed on this page) including over 900 titles in Linen Hall's set NIPL, Northern Ireland Political Literature on Microfiche, Phase 1, Periodicals 1966-1989.
